About Mike Ciucci

Ever since Mike Ciucci was eight years old, he has been a resident of Charleston, SC. A childhood of playing in the creeks, fishing the local waters, swimming and surfing wasn’t a bad start for someone who was destined to be one of Charleston’s top Realtors®. Even today, when he’s not working, Mike can be found shucking oysters at local oyster roasts or enjoying time with his family on the beaches near James Island, where he now lives.

Mike attended Bishop England High School on the Peninsula in Downtown Charleston, and then Francis Marion University in Florence SC. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1996, he went on to Florida Atlantic University where he studied computers and the Internet with an eye to programming, web design, and Internet marketing. He then worked in the film industry for a few years.

Charleston called Mike back in 2003 and he found a new passion for real estate. After nearly a year and a half at Benefitfocus (the largest U.S healthcare benefits software provider), it became clear that while Mike enjoyed his job there and valued what he had learned, he enjoyed the person-to-person communication that he got from real estate even more. In 2004, he became a member of Carolina One Real Estate and has been there ever since.

When he is not showing people the beautiful Charleston real estate market, Mike enjoys spending time with his family outdoors. He, his wife Melora and their two children are often busy boating, fishing, swimming and surfing in the Charleston area.

My Commitment to You

It is my philosophy in life to be successful at everything I do.  That means success in my career, personal life, and relationships with others.  Having grown up in a Military family, my father has instilled upon me in early childhood certain values, beliefs, and the right way of doing things.  I was taught the utter importance of respecting others, always being prepared, setting goals, and always being on time.

I also have learned that wherever you are right now, you can get to anywhere you want to be- if you will make the commitment to do it.  I believe that true hard work and dedication takes determination, self-discipline, and always having the end result in mind- and striving to get to that final destination.  True commitment needs to be worked at every single day, because it is a total sum of daily activities that gets me to my target goals.  I want to give you this commitment.
