Downtown, Charleston SCTravel & Leisure Magazine has come out with their annual list of 'World Cities' based upon the readers' votes and guess which city has secured a spot for 'Best World Cities in the US & Canada'?  Coming in at #3 is none other than Charleston, South Carolina!  Charleston is #3 with Travel & Leisure.

We've actually beaten out such cities as: Chicago, Washinton DC,  Los Angeles, and Boston.  With the draw of historic downtown, the beaches, and the beautiful weather- there truly is no reason not to love this paradise we're living in.

If you have any questions about the Charleston area, please give me a call.  I enjoy talking about our wonderful city and would like the opportunity to talk about it!

Columbia SC Real Estate wrote: I don't find it hard to believe that Charleston is in the top 5. Isle of Palms, Folly Beach, James Island, and Historic Charleston are all nice places to visit. Even throughout the State of SC Charleston has always been the "Cool" place to visit. I've also heard that Charleston is the closest ocean front city from Charlotte via highways. Makes sense with I-77 running directly into I-26. I'm in Blythewood/Columbia and we constantly have northern traffic running on I-77S to Charleston. Hopefully I can get some of the land lovers to buy in Columbia before they discover Charleston! ;-)
