These inexpensive condos are typically very small and located above the Crosstown area of downtown, located in the Wagener Terrace and Hampton Park areas. Charleston Peninsula condos below Crosstown typically begin in the 300's, and are closer to the restaurants, shopping, CofC and MUSC, and the Arts. The average condo is in the $500K range and normally affords 2 bedrooms and around 1200 sq feet. 3 bedroom condos typically start in the $800's and can get into the millions for prime real estate near Queen and Broad streets.
