Charleston National Real Estate - Mt. Pleasant, SC

Charleston National is a popular neighborhood with many price ranges and subsections.  It is located right off of Hwy 17, about 20 minutes from downtown Charleston, and 15 minutes to the beaches.  It is an active community, with the main draw for the neighborhood being the golf course, but also very close to Roper Hospital.  Homes here begin in the upper 200's or 300's and can get into the millions along Victory Pointe.  Amenities include a golf course with memberships available, tennis courts, two pools, and a gym.  The neighborhood pool and tennis courts are available with the monthly social membership fee of $42.00. There is also a $250 transfer fee from buyer paid to Charleston National Community Association at closing.

The regime fees for Charleston National depend on the subsection of the neighborhood you live in.  For example, at the time of this writing, the annual HOA fees are $360 a year in Westchester and The Estates.  In Victory Pointe, however, the HOA fees are $1,011 annually.  The HOA fees include the Charleston National Community Association plus Victory Pointe Homeowners fees. Club social membership dues of $40.50/mo. & cover amenities including community pool, tennis courts, club house privileges and golf/pro shop discounts. Golf membership and a Fitness Center are also available with an initiation fee of $500.00 and $195.50 a month for unlimited golf (excluding cart fees). There are HOA and club transfer fees of $250 and $75, respectively, on all sales in Victory Pointe.
