Inner and Outer Mt Pleasant Neighborhoods

With most realtors, Mount Pleasant is split up into two areas, due to its large size and surface area.  Inner Mount Pleasant and outer Mount Pleasant.  Inner Mt. Pleasant consists of neighborhoods that are closer to downtown Charleston, are typically older in age, and have a great appeal due to their location to town and the beaches.  These neighborhoods are located south of the Isle of Palms Connector.  North of the Connector is called 'outer' Mount Pleasant.  These neighborhoods are typically newer, very large communties that were built right before, or during the real estate market boom in the early and mid 2000's.  These neighborhoods have many different subsections with swimming poos, tennis courts, golf courses, schools, shops, restaurants- all within the neighborhood!  The further you go out from downtown Charleston, the more you get for your money.
