Harbor Woods- The Neighborhood

Harbor Woods subdivision is located on James Island, SC near Charleston and Folly Beach.  This neighborhood is a wonderful family-oriented community that is within walking distance to James Island Charter High School.  Harbor Woods has sidewalk-lined streets and homeowners are often found taking walks in the neighborhood, or working on their lawn in spring and summertime. Also nearby is the Harris Teeter grocery store, where many residents decide to take their golf carts to do their grocery shopping.

Homes for sale in Harbor Woods typically begin in the mid 400's and can go to the top of the 600's.  Homes were constructed in the 70's and 80's, but thankfully do not look like typical "Brady Bunch" style homes found in that timeframe.  These homes have been updated and all residents here seem to really take care of their investment.  A plus for many is that boats may be parked in the driveway, where other neighborhoods would not allow.

Harbor Woods Schools

Harbor Woods is within walking distance to Stiles Point Elementary (located literally, right outside of the neighborhood).  Take a look at online school reviews and you can see why this school is so popular.  Camp Road Middle School is about a 5 minute drive from the Harbor Woods neighborhood, and the bus stop is right there, too.  James Island Charter High School is also located just outside the neighborhood, within walking distance.
