Hobcaw Creek Plantation is a very nice neighborhood in Mount Pleasant with a great location, mature trees, and Hobcaw Creek at the rear of the neighborhood. It offers easy access to I-526 (3 minutes), to Isle of Palms (15 minutes), and to historic downtown Charleston (20 minutes). This neighborhood is very popular, but keep in mind of the Wando Terminal nearby (with truck traffic).

Most of the homes in Hobcaw Creek Plantation were constructed in the early 90's, but there are some newer construction houses as well. Every house in the neighborhood looks and feels different, with many different styles and exterior types to choose from. Homes range in price from the high 400's, and top out around 1.5 million for those on Hobcaw Creek. Size-wise, the homes start out in the 2,200 square foot range and can get upwards towards 6,000 square feet.

If you're looking to get on the water, this neighborhood is sure to please. Hobcaw Creek offers direct access to the Wando River, which essentially spills out into the Charleston Harbor, and the East Coast. There is great fishing in Hobcaw Creek, and knee boarding is popular there too- being that there is low wind on the creek.

Amenities in this neighborhood include a swimming pool (with a summer children's swim team), a club house, 2 tennis courts, a play park, a basketball court, neighborhood boat ramp and dock, and a large green space perfect for practicing soccer. The HOA dues at the time of this writing are $720 annually.
