Grand Oaks Plantation is a wonderful neighborhood located off of Beesferry Road in West Ashley. It is a newer-style subdivision with over 1,480 vinyl-sided and brick mix homes. It is a great family-oriented neighborhood, and for those that are retired. The location of the neighborhood allows for easy access to North Charleston via I-526, or to downtown Charleston via Hwy 61. Being on the outskirts of West Ashley allows for more affordable prices this close to town.

There are many different subsections of Grand Oaks Plantation, with all having easy access to the amenities of the neighborhood. The neighborhood has wide streets and sidewalks throughout the community. Grand Oaks also offers the new City of Charleston Bees Landing Recreation center which includes a playground, tennis courts, dog run, and nature trails.
