It sure is a great time to live in Charleston! We could be up to our eyebrows in snow and continually fighting off the icy chill, but instead, we're eating fresh oysters and enjoying our beautiful landscape. Plus, as a scenic and cultural hub for the region, Charleston continues to keep the calendar packed with family enjoyment, right through the winter.

Here are a few ideas for family outings for February:

  • Swing to the blues at the 21st Annual Lowcountry Blues Bash, February 3-19. For more information, visit http://www.bluesbash.com
  • Come out the the Annual Charleston Food and Wine Festival which showcases the talents of local and nationally-recognized Southern chefs in our city widely acclaimed for its Lowcountry cuisine. Voted Top 5 food & wine festivals in the US says Forbes Traveler. Visit www.charlestonwineandfood.com for more info.
  • The largest event of its kind in the U.S., the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition displays the talent of over 500 artists and exhibitors from around the globe, February 18-20. For scheduled events, visit http://www.sewe.com
  • Travel back in time from World War II to the American Revolution at Fort Moultrie National Monument on Sullivan's Island and along with history enjoy birdwatching, boating, fishing, kayaking, nature walks, and wildlife viewing.

Whatever your plans this winter, we can help you answer questions and make sound decisions while purchasing a home. Today's transactions are complex and when you're ready to make a move, it's important to have someone you can trust to help you find the right property, represent you in negotiations, and assist you with every step along the way.
